But birds don’t often get the limelight and that’s what Sarah’s comics titled ‘Chicken Thoughts’ has come to address. Hinged on her pet’s hilarious behavior, the 25-year-old perfectly captures the nuances of living with companion parrots. Sarah, The illustrator from Texas owns two birds: Chicken and Blue Boy. Of course, they are both adorable with Chicken less bright than its bossy parrotlet roommate.
Sarah’s ‘Chicken Thoughts’ are based on bird behaviors and often come from weird things her birds would do. Sometimes, she also draws based on things she read her fans said about theirs! These beautiful birds that soar the sky and sing in their free time can be huge troublemakers and love to make sure you serve them as their slaves.
Interestingly, the artist plans on unveiling her book: Chicken Thoughts: Comics About Birds on the 1st of November 2020.
